Make a difference for cats in need

Your support is vital to our mission. Discover the many ways you can help High Peak Cat Rescue provide a second chance for vulnerable cats and kittens. Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact.

Ways you can help

High Peak Cat Rescue relies on the kindness of our community to continue our life-saving work. There are many ways to get involved and directly improve the lives of our feline friends.

Donations

We are always in need of essential supplies such as food, litter, blankets, medicines, and equipment to provide our foster carers with as much support as possible. Your donations help keep our cats comfortable, healthy and happy.

Drop-off points

We are in the process of setting up drop-off points for donated items in local supermarkets and pet shops. In the meantime, if you have items you'd like to donate, please contact us at admin@highpeakcatrescue.org.uk to arrange a drop-off or collection.

Amazon wishlist

We have set up an Amazon wishlist with some items that are vital for keeping the cats that we care for safe, healthy and comfortable. Items purchased by you are sent straight to us so that we can get them to our fosterers as quickly as possible. This link will open in a new tab.

Donating financially

We are currently in the process of setting up a bank account and a Just Giving Page. Details on how to donate will be posted here shortly.

If you would like to make a financial donation towards equipment, veterinary costs or maintenance of our facilities, you can do so via our JustGiving page. Please do include your details with the donation so that we can keep in touch to let you know the difference that your donation has made to the work that we do.

Questions

If you have any questions about items for donation, please email us at admin@highpeakcatrescue.org.uk

Volunteer your time

We would love it if you could offer your time to help us to fundraise, offer transportation or support our fosterers.

Events such as coffee mornings, fairs and drop-in stalls help us generate the crucial funds needed for veterinary care and ongoing support, as well as raising awareness for the important work we do.

You can also help us by offering transportation for cats needing vet visits, taking supplies to our fosterers or collecting donations from our drop-off points.

You can join our volunteer community by emailing us at admin@highpeakcatrescue.org.uk

Foster or adopt a cat

Providing a temporary foster home or a permanent loving home for one of our cats is one of the most direct and rewarding ways to help. Learn more about becoming a foster parent or adopting a cat.

Fostering a cat

Fostering provides a safe, temporary home for cats who may have been rescued from very difficult circumstances. It greatly reduces stress on the cats and helps us learn more about their personalities to find the perfect match. We also often have pregnant cats in need of a safe, calm environment for the later stages of pregnancy, birth and beyond. Raising kittens in a home environment gives them the best start before they find their forever homes. We support our fosterers every step of the way.

Adopting a cat

Opening your home and your heart to a cat in need is an incredibly rewarding experience. We support you with that transition into pet ownership and work with you to ensure that the cats we re-home have the very best chance at a happy life.
