Our story: compassion in action
Discover the heart and soul behind High Peak Cat Rescue. Learn about our journey, our dedication to feline welfare, and our vision for a better future for cats and kittens in our community.
Our inspiring beginnings
High Peak Cat Rescue was born from a shared passion for helping felines in need. We are a network of volunteers based around the High Peak and Hope Valley area, with extensive experience of fostering, rescue work and working in cat sanctuaries. We recognised a significant need for a focused charity in the High Peak area to provide care for cats and kittens in need, supporting their journey from foster home to forever home.
Our vital mission
The primary goal of High Peak Cat Rescue is clear: to alleviate the suffering of stray, abandoned, and unwanted cats and kittens who are in desperate need of care. We are committed to ensuring every rescue cat and kitten finds a permanent, loving home where they can thrive. We also actively promote responsible cat ownership throughout the community, educating on welfare, neutering, vaccination and microchipping.
Join our community
